Ring of the JMC Presbyterian Theological Seminary

The Presbyterian Theological Seminary Reverend José Manoel da Conceição, also known as JMC Seminary, is a Presbyterian Protestant seminary located in the city of São Paulo. Its name was given in honor of Rev. José Manoel da Conceição, former Roman Catholic priest, first Brazilian Protestant pastor ordained on December 17, 1865 by the Presbyterian Church.
The seminar is confessional by the Presbyterian Church of Brazil. As such, it follows a conservative reformed (or Calvinist) theological line. It has the Holy Scriptures as its only rule of faith and practice and the Confession of Faith, the Greater Catechism and the Westminster Brief Catechism as the confessional standard of official interpretation of the Scriptures.
